Navigating the intricate real estate process for clients is second nature to Mark Weitzman, a licensed principal broker with twelve years experience in the Manhattan and Bronx markets. He spent four years at the tri-state's largest residential real estate firm, and six years in the intimate brokerage division of one of Manhattan's largest property management companies. Having worked tirelessly in both the sales and rentals of condominium, cooperative and rental buildings, Mark is intensely familiar with all of the nuances of the evaluating, marketing, leasing, selling and closing processes from the seller/landlord and buyer/tenant sides.
The merger of Mark's perspective gained from his experience in a property management firm, with the straight-ahead discipline of brokerage has resulted in a broad, well-understood overview of residential real estate. His meticulous attention to detail combined with an ability to think, plan, and act many steps ahead in every transaction enables Mark to facilitate a smooth, win-win conclusion to what can often otherwise be a daunting endeavor for his clients and customers.
Master at the art of listening to his buyers' needs and desires, Mark carefully screens properties to avoid wasting their precious time. When working with sellers, he just as steadfastly puts his clients' needs above his own, working selflessly to obtain the best price and most qualified offers from every segment of the marketplace. It's no surprise that he is constantly recommended to the friends and colleagues of his satisfied clientele when asked for a trustworthy and diligent real estate agent. Over the past ten years, Mark has listed, sold and rented apartments from Battery Park City up to the North Bronx. In addition to his wealth of knowledge on Manhattan coops and condos (for which he's done hundreds of deals), he is a Riverdale specialist, having been raised in and chosen to reside in this community with his family.
Mark's personable demeanor endears him to clients and customers, allowing him to establish a strong rapport from the start. His varied prior experience in the advertising, graphic design, and music performance/recording fields further lend to his effectiveness and creativity he displays in his work. He continually upgrades his real estate knowledge by attending different classes and seminars. Mark regularly attends the Coop Board meetings in his own cooperative, to witness first hand how cooperatives are run, and to keep up with its changing rules and policies, planned renovations and other noteworthy situations within so he can accurately and knowledgeably represent the coop to prospective buyers. But above all, Mark conducts business and lives his life based on the most important values: integrity and the golden rule.
Mark is a proud member of: The National Association of Realtors, New York State Association of Realtors, and the Bronx-Manhattan North Association Of Realtors. On a personal note, Mark has a remarkable toddler named Zachary, who is his pride and joy. Mark enjoys art, photography, and music. He's an accomplished, critically acclaimed harmonica player and singer/songwriter, and is conversational in Hebrew. Mark is a graduate of The New York Real Estate Institute, Syracuse University, Bronx High School of Science, S.A.R. Academy and Kinneret Day School.
